An announcement!

BIG NEWS! I have finally set up my Etsy shop!
(CLICK HERE  to see the shop.)
I signed up for Etsy years ago, but never actually fully set it up. Right now there is one quilt in there and a set of 5 burp cloths, which are super cute. I'm hoping to get more items in there soon. In the mean time, here's some cute stuff I've made recently!
Receiving blanket and burp cloths

Car seat tent (LOVE those elephant buttons!)

Boy quilt

Possibly my favorite girl quilt ever! Why, you ask? Keep scrolling...
H for Heidi! The cute little baby who got this blanket. I hand-stitched the initial on the back of the quilt, and her mom loved it! (And I did too. Totally worth the extra effort!)

So, confession: I haven't even thought about this blog in about 3 years. BUT I am back, if only to remember how far I've come in the last few years. When I started this blog I only made rag quilts, and they were very simple. I do still make rag quilts and I still love them. But not only am I much better at making them now, I also have made more fun designs! Also in the last couple years I have started making non-rag quilts. (AKA "quilts".) Since I forgot this blog existed, I'm sure everyone else has too. So I'll post pictures anyway, if only so I can remember the fun quilts I have made. :) (Sorry self, for not getting a decent camera yet...)

Finally, some good pictures!

As seen in previous posts, my camera is not great. My sister-in-law was kind enough to take some pictures of my newest quilts, which ARE for sale! Looking for a new photographer? Check out her site.

These are both baby quilts, approximately 35"x45". My 18 month-old son still uses his quilt this size, so it's great for growing babies! Each quilt comes with 4 matching burp cloths. I'm asking $50 for each set. If you're giving as a gift, I would be happy to include a handmade card. :)

My FAVORITE pink quilt

I made this quilt for my new little niece, who is due in December. Obviously, this one is not for sale, but I know where to get the fabric if someone should want a similar one.

I also made the matching burp cloths. Always a great idea for gifts!

First post!

Welcome to my quilting blog! All quilts seen on here will be for sale, unless posted otherwise. I LOVE making rag quilts. I'm so hooked, I just keep on making them.

Here are a few pictures of some of my favorite quilts I've made. NOTE: These quilts are NOT for sale, but many of the fabrics are still in stores here so if you want, I can try to get them for your custom quilt. :)

This one doesn't have the fringe cut on it yet - in fact, none of them do, except the last one. So use your imagination. :)

This one the fringe is cut, but hasn't been washed yet. It was SO cute after washing. The pink star fabric is my favorite fabric I think that I've ever used.

This car quilt is the first example of a quilt WITH batting in it. I LOVE that we picked brown thread so the x's are more decorative.

Finally, one I remembered to take a picture of after it was washed. My camera is so horrible, I wish I'd gotten up closer. More BETTER pics coming soon, including blankets that are currently for sale!
